The Hamburg-based company JOHN VOSS Cosmetics GmbH is owned by three founders from Hamburg and northern Germany.
We share curiosity, passion, and a feel for trends.
Since there were always discussions among friends about cosmetics that were either overpriced and not very effective or contained critical substances, we asked ourselves the central question:
As passionate nature lovers and professionals in the field of food technology, the question now came up which properties we could take from nature and make use of them to combine them with the highest quality standards and "German engineering". Therefore, the global answer to the question "Is there another way?" was...
The idea was born: We develop cosmetics, and we want to do it better and we can do it better.
The mission: The development of a holistic skincare beauty series in which selected, highly effective and natural ingredients are used, while at the same time consequently avoiding harmful additives. We combine clinical beauty with clean skin care at a fair price/performance ratio and Made in Germany: CLEAN BEAUTY
To achieve this mission, 3 things are important:

Holger Birkhahn, a nature-loving graduate chemical engineer, has over thirty years of professional experience in technical leadership and executive management in the field of manufacturing nutritional supplement products.

Jessica Bessen is a diploma engineer in the field of food technology and looks back on more than 2 decades of expertise in the development and quality assurance of food supplements. She is largely responsible for the formulations and customer-oriented high quality of JOHN VOSS products.

John Voss, sales and marketing professional as well as former European top manager at Apple Inc., whose time working under Steve Jobs had a lasting impact on design & perfection, is also part of the founding team of JOHN VOSS Cosmetics GmbH. He is responsible for the look & brand identity of the JOHN VOSS trademark.
